(Scene 3) – Long shot of the church, Margaret looks on whilst a monk walks out of the door

Monk: Hello sister, what brings you out this way on your own? What troubles you? (Concerned)

Margaret: I... I have nowhere else to go... I’ve been forced to leave the convent.

Monk: but why sister?? Do come inside out of the cold, I’ve just put the kettle on.
(Margaret follows the Monk inside)
